Just south of Perth is Mandurah, a year-round holiday resort. Mandurah is centred around vast inland waterways and 40km of popular beaches. The calm water of the Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary are ideal for safe boating, water skiing, yachting, windsurfing, fishing, river cruises, diving, crabbing and prawning and there are residential houseboats for hire too. On the foreshores of the estuary, there are vast lawns with picnic shelters, tables, BBQs, toilets and changing facilities.
One of the attraction in Mandurah is the Marapana Wildlife World where you have the opportunity of feeding and touching a variety of native and imported animals including koalas. Water playground and a golf driving range can also be found here. |
